Kamila Paradowska is a content designer, web writer, and writing coach. For many years, she has been popularizing the concept of UX writing and is the author of a widely recognized online course in content design. Since 2018, she has been running her company Dobra Treść (Good Content), but as she says herself, her approach to business differs from the typical chase for more zeros in the bank account.

Freedom instead of chasing millions

After several years of working with clients, Kamila decided to add digital products – online courses and ebooks – to her offer.

The goal was simple – work less, earn smarter, and spend more time on what truly matters.

"My compass is my family and spending quality time. I got into selling digital products to have more time for myself, to achieve income diversification that wouldn't just come from selling my time.” Kamila Paradowska

In a world where headlines scream “earn a million in a month,” Kamila chose to run her business her own way.

“There are people who are drawn to making money, to building businesses – fast. Sometimes you read confessions of people who started companies and didn’t sleep for two years or were constantly working. I wake up in the morning, have a calm start, meet with clients, do some work, and during the day I go to the lake or bike ride because I want to enjoy the weather. At the same time, I feel that everything is aligned with who I am.” Kamila Paradowska

Second time's the charm

She launched her first online course during the pandemic, motivated by a drop in client projects. She chose the topic based on her own experience, but the course didn’t gain much traction.

“I knew I was good at recording videos and already had a YouTube channel. So I decided to record a course called Expert Blog. But it wasn’t the kind of course that attracted a big audience.” Kamila Paradowska

It wasn’t until her second course on UX writing that Kamila found massive success – it has already run five editions, with more to come. This time, the course addressed a real market need.

“Some people wrote to me and asked if I could create such a course because they wanted to buy it. On the other hand, I saw that this topic was really interesting to people working in copywriting. Companies also reached out asking me to create a course for them.” Kamila Paradowska

Self-made course, start to finish

Kamila emphasizes that the success of her course is not just about market fit, but above all, the quality of the product.

“There’s no success without a good product. You can have great tools, but if the product is weak, it won’t sell. Some products will be more or less popular. It’s worth creating several and test the market.” Kamila Paradowska

From the very beginning, she has produced her courses herself. The content is based on her experience and knowledge, which she continues to develop through daily work with clients.

“The market is constantly evolving, technology is evolving – gaining knowledge through real client work is absolutely unique. In my field, to grow and sell digital products, you have to stay actively involved.” Kamila Paradowska

She records her courses in a home studio, using the Ecamm Live app and editing the materials herself. Her promotional efforts are methodical – she prepares marketing materials and collaborates with a marketing specialist to run campaigns. Her marketing strategy includes paid ads on Google, Meta, and TikTok.

“These are paid campaigns – we allocate a budget to reach our audience. The course revenue later covers these costs.” Kamila Paradowska

When everything falls apart

The first edition of her course was hosted on WordPress with the LearnDash plugin. However, it quickly became clear that this setup wasn’t working.

“LearnDash is fine; many people use it, but at some point it conflicted with my WordPress theme, and the site suddenly stopped working. One day I just woke up without a website.” Kamila Paradowska

And with no sales. Solving the issue wasn’t easy. Kamila couldn’t fix it herself and struggled to find a developer willing to jump into an existing project and help with the integrations.

That’s when Kamila discovered Easycart 1.0 – the first version of our creator ecosystem.

“The developer warned me that it was a new tool that would surely have lots of bugs. He said LearnDash had been around for years, and WordPress was safe and free. But what’s the point if it suddenly crashes my sales? I figured – If I can set everything up myself in Easycart, why bother hiring a developer to handle sales?” Kamila Paradowska

$13,000+ in one day

The results came quickly. Kamila launched her sales independently using Easycart and saw quick success.

“I did a presale of the content design course in Easycart. On the first day, within three hours, I sold out all the spots. I thought: aha, so this works, and I don’t need to rely on anyone but myself.” Kamila Paradowska

After successful testing, Kamila fully transitioned to Easytools and now creates her own checkout pages for courses and ebooks. As she says, her sales are now not only simple but also effective.

“For the first time in my life, I made $13,000+ in a single day. Those are numbers that really make an impression – I launch a course and have so many participants on day one.” Kamila Paradowska

Easycart and its quick sales setup also allow Kamila to test different products and payment models:

“I see how my audience reacts to different types of products, and for me, a big value is that Easycart allows various sales models – I can, for example, sell my course in subscription-based installments. That way, my clients don’t need to go to the bank and sign a credit agreement, and I get steady monthly income from the subscriptions even after the course ends.” Kamila Paradowska

Thanks to this, Kamila earns not only during the sales window but also monthly afterward.

Once the sales window closes, Kamila makes use of the “Waitlist” feature. It lets her easily reconnect with interested folks when the next round of the course kicks off.

An e-book recorded… in the park

To attract new participants to her Good Content Academy, Kamila decided to expand her offer with an ebook. The goal? To have a small product that showcases the quality of her work and lets people get to know her.

She chose to optimize the creation and sales process to the max.

“I went for a walk in the park and recorded myself. My phone saved the content, and I trained ChatGPT to work with my text – clean it up, place punctuation correctly, and form full sentences. I highly recommend this workflow, especially for experts who have a lot to say but think faster than they write.” Kamila Paradowska

The next steps were editing, layout, and graphic design. Kamila brought in a designer but first tested the ebook as an online version. For sales, she again chose Easycart.

“I decided to release the ebook via a website and use a payment gateway. But I didn’t want to build a site from scratch – I used Notion and Super.so.” Kamila Paradowska

As a result, the online version of the ebook was released ultra fast and generated enough revenue to fund the PDF and ePUB version launch.

Key takeaways for digital creators

Kamila has been a digital creator for several years and successfully sells her products. Here’s what she said when asked what she would do differently if she could start her online journey over:

1. Don’t wait for the perfect moment

“I would definitely start selling sooner and wouldn’t be so afraid, because the market is receptive. People want to learn things quickly and effectively today, and they trust this medium.” Kamila Paradowska

2. "Safe" doesn’t always mean reliable

WordPress and LearnDash are trusted solutions used by thousands of creators. But for Kamila, they failed at a critical moment.

3. Independence is valuable

Being able to manage sales without developers isn’t just convenient – it’s a competitive advantage. Kamila can test new products, launch promotions, and react to market changes within hours, not weeks. A developer can help with more complex issues and optimizations, but their presence isn’t necessary all the time.

4. Test before making a big investment

Before moving all her sales to Easycart, Kamila ran a safe test by organizing a presale. This allowed her to get to know the tool, confirm she could use it herself, and see the results.

5. Don’t be afraid of paid campaigns

Earning $13,000 in one day is the result of a systematic approach to marketing. A well-run campaign is an investment, not an expense. If you lack experience, it’s worth getting expert support.

Questions to ask yourself:

  • What percentage of your income comes from selling your time vs. digital products?
  • Does your business model allow you to work according to your own priorities?
  • How many of your products actually sell vs. how many were created just because they “seemed like a good idea”? Is it time to trim some of these products?
  • Do your current solutions require constant tech support?
  • If your site went down tomorrow, could you launch sales within 24 hours?
  • Can you test a new sales model (installments, subscriptions, bundles) on your own?

Kamila shows that digital products don’t have to lead to burnout or a rat race. With the right tools like Easycart, they can be a way to reclaim time and live life on your own terms. And maybe that’s exactly why what she does works so well.
