Boost sales with effective promotion strategies
Leveraging effective promotion strategies is crucial for driving conversions and boosting revenue.
At Easytools, we focus on helping you increase sales and grow your business. That's why we've incorporated several promotional features into our checkout:
Crossed prices
To help customers recognize the value of a special offer, you can display the original price crossed out next to the discounted price. This visual cue acts as a simple yet powerful psychological trigger, encouraging purchasing decisions.

Countdown timers
Adding countdown timers for limited offers creates a sense of urgency, prompting customers to act quickly. With Easycart, you can add a countdown to the entire checkout or specific variants. This is ideal for events like selling tickets to an online conference and promoting early bird passes.

Promo codes
Creating a promo code is a great option if you prefer not to apply a discount across your entire checkout. You can opt for a code that reduces the price by a specific amount or percentage.

Important: Showing a promo field by default can make customers abandon checkout to hunt for deals or feel frustrated seeing a potential discount. Instead, only activate the field when a code exists, or share a special link that unlocks the field/applies the discount automatically.
Waitlists
Waitlists are an excellent tool for capturing potential leads when a product is out of stock, temporarily unavailable or not yet launched. If you enable it and your product runs out of stock or will be unavailable, we allow potential buyers to register helping capture more leads.

Upsells
When offering pricing options like monthly/yearly subscriptions, our upsell feature links them automatically. Just select an upsell product, and we'll display both choices with a toggle switch. Add a savings note (e.g., "Save 20% with annual billing") to encourage upgrades.

Cross-sells
Easycart's cross-selling feature suggests complementary products post-purchase on thank-you pages and/or in emails. Just pick your cross-sell product and add a discount to boost conversions. Customers can then buy directly from the page for 15 minutes or from the email for 60 minutes.

Checkout recovery
We also help you make the most of discounts to bring back customers who abandoned their carts. Our checkout recovery system can reach out to these customers, occasionally offering a tailored discount, such as a 5% or 20% reduction, to encourage them to finalize their transaction.

Together, these promotional strategies—crossed pricing, countdown timers, promo codes, waitlists, upsells, cross-sells, and checkout recovery—work collectively to streamline and enhance your sales process, and let you earn more without any extra effort on your side.
