Enhance WooCommerce with integration. Add advanced checkout features to your existing online store.

Thanks to the built-in WooCommerce integration in Easycart, sellers can easily create automation workflows to automatically manage orders completed through Easycart. Currently, we support creating orders in WooCommerce after a purchase is made in Easycart. This allows you to use your existing WooCommerce workflow for handling post-purchase processes – so no changes are needed. This includes options such as issuing invoices, updating stock levels, etc. However, subscription products sold this way are not yet supported – subscription products will not appear in the automation list.

Integrate with WooCommerce

First, connect Easytools with your WooCommerce account. You will need your WooCommerce store URL and an API key, which can be generated from your user profile.

The application access key ensures secure communication between WooCommerce and external services, and it can be revoked at any time. It should be generated from an account with administrator role.

Then follow these steps:

  1. Go to StoreAutomations.
  2. In the top menu, select Apps.
  3. Click +New App in the top right corner.
  4. Enter a connection name and select WooCommerce from the list of applications.
  5. Provide your platform URL.
  6. Enter your username.
  7. Paste your application password, i.e., the API Key.
  8. Click Check Connection.
  9. Save the integration.

Setting Up Automation Workflows

The next step after creating the integration is to set up an automation workflow:

  1. Go to StoreAutomations.
  2. In the top menu, select the Scenarios tab.
  3. Click +New Scenario in the top right corner.
  4. Enter a name for the scenario.
  5. In the Event field, select the triggering event.
  6. Assign the Product and Variants for which you want to run the scenario
  7. In the Select App field, choose the previously created WooCommerce integration (you can also select Connect a new app to create a new connection).
  8. Choose the WooCommerce integration type.
  9. In the Action field, select Create New Order.
  10. After adding the action, two additional fields will appear – select the product and optionally the product variant if applicable.
  11. Click Save.

Once the automation is executed, in your WordPress WooCommerce dashboard under:

  • Customers – you will find new customers
  • Orders – you will find the newly created order

The main goal of the EasyCart checkout is to maximize sales conversion. Using automation allows you to increase product sales while keeping your WooCommerce store and maintaining your existing post-purchase processes already set up in WooCommerce.
