Analyze automation activity
How to monitor your automation activity in Easytools, from the live workflow preview to detailed metrics covering email performance and contact progress.
Once your automation is active, you have several ways to monitor how your contacts are moving through it.
Live preview
When you open an active automation, you will see it in preview mode. This gives you a real-time view of your flow, showing how many contacts are currently at each step of the sequence.
Automations list
In Campaigns → Automations you can get a quick overview of all your flows. For each automation you will see the total number of runs and how many contacts are currently queued - meaning how many people are in the automation at any given moment, regardless of which step they are at.
Metrics
For a more detailed breakdown, you can access the metrics of any automation in two ways:
- From the automations list, click ... on the right side of the automation and select Metrics
- From inside the automation editor, click ... next to the Activate button in the top panel and select Metrics
The Metrics section has two tabs: Analytics and Runs
Analytics
This tab gives you a full overview of your automation's performance. If your flow includes several emails, you will see for each one:
- Subject
- Recipients
- Open rate
- Click rate
- Unsubscribes
You will also see the overall automation stats:
- Total runs
- Contacts currently queued
- Completed - how many contacts have finished the full flow
- Failed - how many contacts did not complete the sequence
Runs
This tab shows you the individual runs of your automation, including the emails sent, dates, and statuses for each run. This allows you to see exactly what happened for each contact - for example, if someone failed to complete the full sequence.
